This program is designed to introduce students to human rights by using social media as a platform to build empathy, promote change and become active citizens in the future of work. Students will begin their day by discovering some of the stories within the Museum’s exhibits through clues while using a variety of social media platforms to share these stories online. Students will collaboratively create social media posts using critical thinking and citizenship skills.

The afternoon will consist of a keynote address by Dr. John Herrington, the first Indigenous astronaut in the world, who will speak about his dream of flying and how tenacity, great mentors and education made those dreams come true.
