Job Description
The Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology (MITT) is Manitoba's newest public college - a unique educational institution offering post-secondary certificates and diplomas alongside comprehensive, integrated secondary programming, all directly linked to current labour market needs. Software Developer Instructors (Front and Back End) Start Date: February 2018 Monday to Friday, 8:45 am to 3:15 pm

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Front End Instructor:
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Graphic Design, Web Development or a related field.
- 5+ years of industry experience.
- Experience with post-secondary instruction, staff development/training, or mentoring is an asset.
- Strong communication, time-management, writing skills and computer skills.
- Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Bootstrap
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and UI/UX design an asset
- Active and ongoing participation in the local web development community through Meetups or conferences.
- Front-end Web Developer Nanodegree from Udacity, or the willingness to obtain.
- Experience with Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Prezi/Outlook or comparable software.

Back End Instructor:
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Web Development or a related field.
- 5+ years of industry experience.
- Experience with post-secondary instruction, staff development/training, or mentoring is an asset.
- Strong communication, time-management, writing skills and computer skills.
- Experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Angular along with Microsoft .NET (C#/ASP.NET/MS SQL)
- Active and ongoing participation in the local web development community through Meetups or conferences.
