Business growth has created an opportunity within the Greystone head office for a Senior Business Analyst to join their collaborative team. As the Senior Business Analyst you will report to the Senior Vice-President, Information Technology, and will be responsible for translating internal and external technology requirements into comprehensive solutions to meet business goals.
As the Senior Business Analyst you’ll:
Lead the business through detailed requirements gathering with business stakeholders ensuring an understanding of products and services.
Develop both high-level and detailed process flows, conduct requirements gathering, data modeling and process mapping.
Liaise with and develop functional and non-functional specifications for internal and external development teams.
Develop test scenarios, identify issues and provide traceability from requirements through development/configuration to delivery of process workflows and procedures.
Conduct functional, user acceptance testing and system integration testing.
Contribute to benefits realizations and change management procedures and policies.
Provide research and guidance for the organization regarding Business Analysis best practices.
As the successful candidate you:
Have completed post-secondary education in a technology, business or finance related field.
Have 7-10 years of hands-on, progressive business analysis experience, in a services related industry (financial ideal).
You possess strong business acumen and professionalism, and have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with differing audiences.
Are experienced in developing detailed process flow maps and entity relationship diagrams.
Are not only skilled at analyzing technology and determining efficiencies, but are a creative thinker who enjoys problem solving and determining best practices.
Are experienced in project management, delivering within required timeframes and leveraging organizational change management techniques in support of key initiatives.
Are a service oriented professional who is able to meet and engage with stakeholders effectively, drawing out necessary information in order to apply technology to business needs.
Having your CFA certification is a strong asset.
