Manitoba Hydro Telecom (MHT) is a facilities-based, carrier-class telecom service provider with a comprehensive network in rural Manitoba and the Winnipeg region. The network was originally designed to protect, monitor, and control the electric power system throughout Manitoba, and is now leveraged to connect customers with reliable access to broadband communication services. Comprised of thousands of kilometers of fiber optic cable, the network is equipped with next generation Ethernet technology, enabling Manitoba Hydro Telecom to provide organizations with scalable broadband capacity. MHT also offers symmetric Internet Gateway, colocation services in data centers, and colocation on Manitoba Hydro radio towers.
